A WORLD WITHOUT RESPITE

The world we journey through is against our very existence.

Our presence under the sun is persecuted and our every breath is outlawed.

Each day we must find work, each night we must find a place to sleep, but there is never a moment of safety for any of us.

We are many people, many cultures, many faces, but we travel together for now - a family of sorts, bound by shared adversity.

TROUBLED HEARTS

But this game is not about our world. It is about US. We are not defined by what/who victimises us.

Each character has deep connections to all the others.

Today, each carries a trouble which they hope to resolve before the sun goes down.

Arguments? Betrayals? Misunderstandings? Strife and conflict? Hopes of love?

What troubles our hearts this day?

BUT TONIGHT WE DANCE

We play to do more than just survive this awful world. We play to thrive, to heal our relationships with each other, to resolve our feelings, to express our soul.

And even if we don't succeed? Tonight, we dance - maybe in joy or sorry or defiance, but we dance to claim  this moment as our own - real - standing in our humanity, in our triumph or brokenness - the things nobody can take from us.
