NIGHT JAR

The world you once called home is now gone. All that remains are a few tattered fragments and pale ghosts of what once was.

But you have not given up hope. Not yet. You know that although almost everything has been wiped out, there are still some small fragile lives out there who need your help.

So every night you climb to the rooftop of the crumbling building in which you have managed to shelter. And you place a glass jar, with a small light and a spoon of precious honey inside.

Each morning you check the NightJar and see what visitors have come to feed.

you check their species carefully, each species tells a tale of the world outside.

And you try to heal the ones who are broken, although your resources are precious and few.

Then you set them free.
